Speaking on the matter, Cllr Rice said:

‘Following concerns raised with me by local residents, I contacted Council officials to highlight a number of maintenance issues at Scrogg Road Play Park.

‘I am pleased that Council has taken action to address the weeds and grass growing through the rough play area, with spraying now carried out to tackle the problem.
